We skied a lap of Sunnyside, followed by Home Run.
A thin rain crust above consolidated storm snow made for some interesting but surprisingly decent skiing. The crust was minimally obstructive to skiing above 1600m, but thickening significantly below.
Little notable slab characteristics were found. Facets still present in bottom of snowpack.
HS ~100cm at 1900m.
We found freezing rain up to ~1600m in late morning, and S-1 in valley bottom at 16:00.
