Comments
Regional avalanche danger of Low. Local conditions conducive to a great day. We rode N and NE slopes at back of Tbar and Falcon chair. Riding conditions were dry powder from 15cm storm 2 days prior. Cold morning of -9C and shady N aspect kept the snow in pristine conditions. Some localised crusted areas in the NW slopes (likely from previous week warm temps) when we walked up so kept to more N and NE slopes for the ascent. Did not dig pit as had done so last week, now with 10-15cm of recent snow on top. Bluebird sunny day with predominantly N wind, with strong gusts at times (likely funneling in on ridge, as forecast was for E wind) - low to nonexistent wind conditions at top of treeline on N aspect.
