Great skiing in cold pow!

No natural activity observed (altho v limited vis into alpine)

HS 240 at 1900m

Approx 40cm of low density snowfall over the week

= Compression Test Easy 7 taps at 20cm

= inconclusive / no result (but weak layer present) on graupel at 40cm

= Compression Test Moderate 17 taps at 55cm

Skied up to 40deg slopes below tree line, including some convex areas. No results except for some little loose sluff while skiing (later in the day on steeper slopes)

Calm wind in am, moderate in pm, lots of low density snow available for transport.

Temps -10 at 8am at 1700m, cooling into pm (not measured, but maybe -15?)
