Comments
Great skiing on avalanche crest Dec 23 and 24. We skied skiers left up top, avoiding the chutes and planar bowl feature further along the ridge.
No signs of instability noted aside from sluffing off steeper features. Surface snow sluffed easily over steep rolls, requiring management on the steep, filled in cliff/pillow section above the main bench.
Inversion noted Dec 24 on the ridge top.
Small surface hoar development observed below tree line during the approach up the summer trail.
Ski quality has improved significantly on the lower half with the recent snow improving coverage.
