Wrote this MIN yesterday (Dec 8) but noticed today it did not successfully upload.
Stormy day at Hanging Lake with roughly 20-30cm of storm snow accumulating by 15:30. Triggered two storm slab avalanches. One remote trigger (x3 sz 0.5 ~1500m NE/E open slope) and one skier accidental (sz 0.5-1 ~1500m S open trees).
We were the only group out there besides one solo skier who did not venture above the lake. Ski conditions above 1400m were fantastic, but anything lower could do with at least another metre of snow! Bring your rock skis if you attempt to ski out the bottom like us.
