Avalanche conditions

• Slab avalanches today or yesterday.
• Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Solid day at Oxo, though very very windy. Skin track was disappearing between laps. Wind slab wasn’t too stiff at start of day but was absolutely cranking wind from the SW and expect that this will develop into stiffer slabs. Good day in the sun in low angle terrain. Sun crust was developing and expect will be bad after tonight’s freeze

Big whumpf on the skin track on way out in non consequential terrain. Some big slides off of backside of Dolomite and a few new ones that were wind triggered during the day
