Comments

A total snowpack of 70cm was at the parking lot (1780m). This grew to about between 80-100cm at 2000m. There was 15cm of powder from overnight over a 2cm crust (November 19th). The snowpack carried well on skis, meaning we stayed on top. The main issue was the fact that many rocks and stumps were sticking out. Skiing in the forest was not safe due to this. We took great care going downhill and stuck to very low angle open areas.
