Comments
We skied the bowl NE of Bombtram . There is a melt-freeze or sun crust which is thick at BTL (below 1000m) but very thin TL. No sign of instability at BTL. At TL we had some shooting crack on the E side of the summit. But we did not get any on the NE as we skied. We ski cut a sz1 on a roll at the entry of a couloir.
The snow was good to ski , we had some sluff as we rode steeper couloir and we could barely feel the sun crust under the storm snow.
We could see a sz2-3 on the summit next to Bombtram (see picture). This was on the same aspects as the on we got shooting cracks.
