Comments
Previous winds buried well-preserved surface hoar (10mm) down 15-20cm below treeline. Isolated slabs were reactive in steep and convex terrain where wind-affected in forest openings. Surface hoar on the surface up to 10mm is growing amongst the faceted surface snow. It began snowing 1cm/hour as we left in the afternoon.
