Early season tour into two sisters, wells BC. approx. 15cm snow at road, becoming deeper as we climbed. Treeline snowpack varied from 50-90 cm of well consolidated snow with no observable crusts. A quick pit dug on a E slope showed 85cm, and a compression test yielded CTE8, sudden planar down 15cm ans CTM17 resistant planar down 40cm. Overall conditions were good for early season. Depending on how this storm moves through and where freezing level is, things are shaping up well.
