Comments

Much like yesterday's MIN from this area, we found great skiing at treeline, with very little signs of wind transport at treeline.

Looking at the alpine features, we could see significant wind transport had occurred the previous night and light to moderate winds continued throughout the day. We opted to stay away from any alpine terrain or unnecessary overhead hazard.

The drainage, on skiers left, still looked thin and potentially had open running water in places.

The biggest challenge of the day was the final 200-300m vertical back to the road. The lower elevations are still very thin and the potential to catch skis on hidden branches, trees, or even tree roots was pretty sketchy.
