Comments

Rode a few awesome laps far lookers right next to the patch of trees in Schaffer Bowl. ECT showed no results of propagation. Snow depth around 215 cm. Around 25 cm storm snow on top of a fairly ugly looking 5 cm crust. 15-20 cm of facets at the very bottom. Snow felt solid under foot with no whumpfing, cracking or sluffing. We ventured higher and closer to middle of the bowl for one run and results were the same. Could see a previous slide farther to the lookers left of the bowl. We felt that if we had gone higher we would have gotten into thinner snow with visible rocks so we stayed lower in the deeper snow. Everything felt good but maybe we got away with one?
