Comments
Observations specific to couloir terrain. Strong southerly winds causing significant recent and ongoing wind transport. Lower couloir was being actively scoured down to ice in areas. Soft slabs were building in mid couloir and becoming increasingly reactive with elevation, causing us to turn around.
