Comments

Heavy, sticky snow. Bring your skin wax. Skiing was as good as could be expected given the temps. We skied up and over Elma, down past the ranger cabin, and then paralleled the creek down to Divers Lake. We crossed the lakes and took logging roads back to the resort.

Little to no wind, even on the summit of Elma. We kept our eyes out for signs of unstable slabs but found none. Snow seemed well bonded to the crust below on all aspects and elevations. As the day progressed the snow consolidated quickly. I managed to set off a size 0.5 wet loose slide with some effort. We saw some natural wet loose activity on the side of Allan Brooks (pictured).
