Comments
Dry sugary powder with a crust a few inches deep that could sometimes support feet without snowshoes. Variable depth of snowpack from several feet in the treeline to mix of rock and snow at summit. Felt very safe. Steep alpine south facing slopes have accumulated deep powder in areas. No signs of avalanche activity in areas people access.
