Comments
Obs in the Invermere area from the last couple days. No crust on N facing above ~1800m. Large surface hoar growth in sheltered areas, up to 20mm. Jan 2 surface hoar down ~30cm, still there, easy to resistant shears where found. No recent avalanche activity observed. Extensive wind effect in the alpine. Clear skies above the valley cloud and still good skiing in N facing BTL!
