Variable conditions on log cabin

We started from the pullout right after the log cabin parking lot when driving south and stayed lower down on the southeast aspect of the mountain. The day was warm and windy with no signs of instability in the snowpack. Variable ski conditions with a mixture of rough ice and isolated sheltered pockets of powder. We stayed on the lower portions of the mountain due to high winds and clouds at higher elevations. Snowed very lightly for most of the day with no real accumulation due to wind.
