Comments
Skied Tuesday under very nice weather and snow conditions. Dug some hand pits and did not notice anything concerning in top 30cm.
Skied again in same location on Wednesday under scattered snow showers and more ridgetop wind. Noticed widespread 5cm wind affected layer of consolidated warmer snow on western aspects. Things seemed touchier and we made more conservative choices including more strict avoidance of avi path start zones and exposure over terrain traps.
We did see what looked like a relatively large crown on a south facing avi path above Duffy Lk.
