Comments
Everywhere in the open ALP/TL/BTL was wind affected to some extent, often making tips dive and coming to a sudden stop. We climbed the SW Ridge of Kokanee Peak and found fresh stiff (skis barely penetrating) and tense windslabs up to 60cm deep, but surprisingly did not have any cracking or shearing. Some friends we ran into coming back from Ghost Peak said the snow was great out there with no wind effect.
