Completed Double Knob traverse. Cold, windy, and low visibility throughout the day. Strong winds from north and variable snow conditions in alpine. Multiple pits on south aspect of Purple Knob with varied results. CT3 at 20cm down on storm snow interface, CT20 at 50cm (RP) on firm crust, and no results on ECT. 33 degree slope at 2300m
