Comments
Completed a quick profile at 2170m on a SE asp in Apex Proper Bowl. Open bowl feature at treeline. 85 cm of snow with the bottom 45cm consisting of weak basal facets. An extended column test produce moderate results (12 taps from the elbow) with full propagation across the block and a sudden collapse character down 45cm within a 4 finger hardness layer of facets sitting in an ice crust. No new avalanches observed in this Bowl.
