Is there snow left to blow?! That is what wanted we wanted to find out today when we visited the west slope of the divide in Corbin. Big windward slopes were scoured to rock after last week’s storm, so today’s westerly winds had only minimal snow on the move. Small windslabs in the alpine and steering clear of cornices were our main concerns. The main riding areas are pretty tracked out and wind affected, it is likely a good time to do a bit of exploring if you want fresh.
The grooming in Corbin was great..but trails into any of the bowls are hella whooped!
