Comments
170 cm total snow depth. Pit dug on NE facing slope, 24 degree slope, wind from the NE. Pit depth 136 cm. Compression test results: CTE 1 @124 cm, CTE 3@109 cm, CTM 11@86 cm, CTM 13@66 cm, CTH 25 @ 55 cm, CTH 28 @40 cm. Depths measured from bottom up. Compression test results appear to be related to storm events, no propagation was observed in riding areas (mellow, <30 degree terrain). Rapid warming was occuring at elevation. Pit at @ 1500 m elevation.
