Comments
Cowboy Ridge is in good shape for skiing. Travel in the alpine is much easier that last weekend with the lower snowpack having firmed up a fair bit. Some wind effect and soft storm slabs evident in open pockets and more exposed terrain at the top of Cowboy Ridge. Snow quality in the Oboe Apostles is excellent. Surface hoar was evident in several areas of the Musical Bumps. Skiing out the Singing Pass trail was very reasonable, took a little over an hour from the bottom of Cowboy Ridge.
