Cautiously stepping out

We rode:

• Alpine slopes
• Steep slopes

The day was:

• Sunny

Due to reports of buried surface hoar, we tested several small slopes before cautiously moving into bigger terrain. We had enough confidence to ride into the alpine, but were content with views due to widespread wind effect.

Saw lots of old avalanche activity on the approach but these slides most likely ran last weekend during the warm storm.
