Comments
Snowpack was observed to be consistent, with minimal wind effect in the areas we skied. We chose mellow slopes and wanted to have a careful start to the season. That said, the snow itself was of excellent riding quality. We managed to avoid buried rocks or trees, mostly by luck. No signs of instability, however the area we could observe had no steep slopes.
