No whumphing or cracking or drum sounds. Snowpack barely supportive to skiis thus bring the fat skiis. Made it to the rock/cliff band in the lookers right main path to top of the fan at 1820m. High alpine above the fan has allot of snow, looks windslab, and some large looming hanging cornices.
