Day started pretty clear with high level cloud cover. Light snow started falling at 1030. No snow in old growth, 2m at lake, 2.5 at hut, 4m at 1410m test pit on west slopes below summit. Crust started soon as you exit oldgrowth. Crust is 30cm thick and rock hard. Survival skiing!
