Comments
Great first day out on the roads of 24 mile with the Castlegar SAR Alpine Team getting the sleds operational for the season. There was a bottomless base of 50cm at 1550m. We travelled between 1400m-1675m and noticed significant wind effect from Monday's winds at 1600m and higher in the open areas. The 3-4mm surface hoar was present throughout our whole ride at all elevations travelled.
