over all ride was ok. 45 cm base with two very thick surface crust with a cm of sugar sandwiched between covered by 30 cm plus fresh. best riding in sheltered treed areas where snow settled from winds with depths to 90-110cm powder. fresh snow was not bonding to rain crust.
