Comments
Snow conditions at tree line and below on the N/NE aspects are excellent - storm snow has settled into a 20cm layer on a supportive snowpack. No instabilities noted during the outing. Observations of Alpine is of course wind hammered/scoured and definitely new developments of cross slope wind loading on the west/southwest aspects in any exposed areas over the past week.
