Comments
Riding quality was decent in lower portion of the chutes in the open trees but terrible up top. Rapidly changing temperatures in the area has caused the weak layers to become very dense, with faceted layers beneath. Turns were very unpredictable.
We traversed to the steep open chute on skiers left at the end of the ridge but due to convexity and weak layers we pulled back. Temperatures varied on the day anywhere from -13 to 0 degrees.
