Skied Log Cabin Sunday along with several other groups. Unconsolidated storm snow in the trees and increasingly stiff soft slab and scouring with elevation in the alpine on N/NE aspects. ~80m above the treeline cutline landing NE aspect clean shear down ~60cms - we tested out wind loaded features nearby with no result. Our group did not observe any shooting cracks, though we did have a lot of whumpfing in the trees and 1 mildly heart-stopping settlement in the alpine. Looked windy at ridgetop most of the day.
Based on the mixed messaging (spatial variability) we chose to ski conservative lines today.
