Comments
Moderate winds at valley bottom when we left the truck, this was a strong indicator for us that there would be a wind slab problem in the alpine with the resent storm snow available for transport. We tested smaller slopes and had shooting cracks in the wind affected areas. On one of the steeper slopes we tested we had a size1 slab release average of 70cm deep this layer failed on facets above a crust layer
