Great first turns of the season

-12 degrees at 10am in the parking lot. Temp felt warmer at elevation but no warmer than -5 I would guess. Calm wind, clear skies and sunny all day. Beauty first day of the season. We didn’t go much higher than 1200m as it was more wind affected/bare. Had fun lapping the NE facing slopes as snow quality was great in the areas sheltered from the usual prevailing wind. Didn’t experience the wet snow the previous day MIN post mentioned, dry and fluffy all day. No rocks hit by us but be cautious as they are around and often hidden just enough to make them hard to see.
