Comments

Skied in and around the Twin Lakes area today. Conditions exceeded expectations (the theme of this winter!!) 30-50cm ski penetration on wind protected slopes and good dry snow! Ski cutting continued to produce significant sluffing throughout the day on steeper terrain but it was very manageable. Evidence of Soft storm slabs size 1-2 were visible throughout the day on big slopes. Though not a significant slab at present the snow felt like it had potential in certain areas to become more cohesive especially with the daytime warming and the SW wind.
