Comments
Toured up to Ursus Minor today, enjoying the slight temperature inversion in the alpine. We encountered wind affected snow above 2300m, most of it old and faceting out. Easy travel over the ridge and summit. The skiing was incredibly slow and grippy due to the cold temps, and any sluffing was slow and really hard to initiate. The SE couloir had firm but much better skiing. Great day above the clouds.
