Mario Basin Area

Skied just to the south of Marriot Basin today. We were on south facing slopes, around treeline and below. Near treeline and above minimal solar impacts from the sun today. Below treeline sunny areas it was starting to get a bit moist. Snow is somewhat affected by the wind on ridge top, but not as much as you might think given the winds on the weekend. It quickly becomes fluffy by dropping off ridge top. No instabilities noted and no signs of recent avalanches. Stay out of the trees - it's still not at threshold depth for coverages of hazards.
