Comments

Avalanche only observed during fly over enroute to Ten Stone Mountain Lodge, so size estimates are based on the largest trees in that elevation band and region being about 30-40ft tall. As you can see in the photo, the slab pulled right to ground layer (though this is a very shallow snow pack), and ran into the terrain trap below.
