Comments
Skied the Dolomite Circuit clockwise and took a highline route just below Dolomite Glacier instead of the traditional lowline route. We skied a short pitch from the ridge above Lake Katherine on our way as well.
The surface snow in the general area was pretty good, mostly powder over a firm (mostly) supportive wind slab. I was expecting to see more wind affected snow but outside of the usual suspects (ridge crests, around rocks, etc) there didn't seem to be too much. The limited downhill skiing we did was also better than expected.
