Comments
Numerous skier accidentals up to Sz 1.5 at treeline elevations on SW aspects. Dome and Tree Triangle. In pit had repeatable moderate compression test results down 70cm just below the Jan 16th crust on old surface hoar and facets. Surface hoar to 5mm on the surface but being pushed around by the winds and melted by the sun. But still present at days end in sheltered locations treeline and below. Winds were light from SE, temp was -5, sky clear. Busy day in the Shames Backcountry.
