North asp still ski well in 10-20cm of near surface facets. Some sluffing in steep terrain. Solar aso crunchy with 1-4cm mfcr starting to break down. 5-10cm of facets beneath. SH to 15mm in almost all locations. P.M. winds to strong from SW began to knock surface hoar down and redistribute facets. Thin windslabs building in lee features reactive to ski cuts. Poor foundation for incoming storm snow. Minimal wetting of SW steep asp slopes in late p.m.
