Comments
Skied (most of) Mt. Field today. We set a track from treeline up to ~2480m to just below the 'crux' but due to high winds we decided not to summit. There was 15-20cm of powder however the wind had really started to affect it, reducing the ski quality considerably. Despite the wind, the stability still appeared quite good today. The coverage was good; still some alders sticking out below 1800m but above that the snowpack seemed quite deep.
