Comments
Cold day on Murchisons. -16c with wind chill felt more like -20. Ice had a lot of tension and was hard to swing. Screws were hard to place and sticky. Overall good conditions but approach with care. The last pitch required patience and a lot of cleaning but otherwise fun climbing inside the groove. No spindrift. We had avalanche gear because of the slopes below the climb although they didn't seem to have enough snow to be threatening. Cornices on top of the climb have not formed yet but keep an eye on them. "My daddy..." and "Virtual..." are not in yet.
