Comments

More bug avalanches happened since we visited last on Monday. The dusting of snow on the debris makes me think there was a big cycle on Tuesday sometime. Every path that could go, did. And pretty big. The home run gully and cleavage col paths went full path with very large crowns. Big slides off the alpine slopes of sky pilot and copilot as well. We looked for smaller features to ski. Wind slab was noticible at treeline and we kicked off a .5 I'm a gully with a ski cut. With the alpine looking wind pressed and vis closing in, we headed to the trees. Good powder in places but also a thick (1-3cm) sun crust on the east facing ledge trees. Overall, conditions improving but still so warm!
