Comments
Went halfway up Black Mountain. Not much wind loading observed but stayed in the dense trees. Saw some snow dropped from the trees but didn’t witness any tree bombs. No signs of avalanche releases or pinwheels on the way up. About 4” of heavy new snow on top of a hard crust. Didn’t hear any cracks or whumpfs.
