Comments
Went up the Crags. Snow quality was really nice. Dug a pit at 2000m on a NE aspect just poking out of the trees. Did an ECT and got no result. Snow was right side up, fist hard at the top and progressively more dense.
It got quite warm today and all the snow we saw on southern aspects was warming up and starting to melt. Saw lots of shedding from trees on Southern aspects but the snow that stayed in the shade was riding well!
