Comments
A gorgeous sunny and warm day up Seaton made up for some mediocre riding conditions. The best riding there can be found at sheltered treeline and below where the wind hasnt gotten to the snow yet. The alpine is a mix of hard and soft windslabs and scoured right down to the old crust in some spots. The sun definitely had a kick to it yesterday and we noticed rollerballs on steep solar aspects and a couple of small loose wet avalanches. I suspect south and west faces may have a thin sun crust now. There was evidence of several old wind slab avalanches up to size 2 in the area from north and east facing alpine slopes but nothing that was super recent.
