Suprisingly good powder skiing on the Bonney Moraines. Only 2 cars in the parking lot. Up to 30 cm of dry snow over 1600m on the northern aspects. The solar slopes were showing a lot of signs of warming (small surface wet looses everywhere). Fresh size 1.5 avalanche deposit observed at the base of the steep south-easterly flanks of Ross Peak.
