Headed up towards Heather Mountain, which was accessible by wheel drive car via little shaw main road past Youbou. Would have accessed through north route to Heather Mountain but didnt want to test our luck with the gate. Enough snow to putskisonat about 900 meters, but only about 20 cm to we were careful. By 1000m there was about 100 cm with 10 cm fresh snow from previous day. no signs of instability, other than very minor small sluffs as we descened into the meadow south of Heather Mountain summit from the false peak where the snow pillow is located. skiing was decent but the crust was definitly inpenitrable with skis on.
